Die Umweltpolitik wird nicht nur durch Investitionen in die Ausstattung manifestiert.

Ein sehr wichtiger Faktor, mit dem eine wirksame Umweltpolitik durchgeführt werden kann, ist die angemessene Verwaltung des Unternehmens und Förderung des Umweltbewusstseins bei den Mitarbeitern.

Um angemessene Aufsicht über die Umwelt sicherzustellen, wurde eine spezielle Abteilung gegründet, deren Hauptaktivität die Überwachung der Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt ist.

Eines der wichtigsten Projekte waren die hohen Kostenaufwände, um eine vollständigen unabhängigen Bericht über die Auswirkungen der Gießerei auf die Umwelt zu entwickeln.

Dieser Bericht enthält:

• an examination of the neighboring territories with respect to the appearance of plant and animal species,
• soil, water and atmosphere analyses,
• an analysis of the Victaulic foundry influence on the environment.

The result of the conducted research is that the foundry is among the most environment-friendly.

Currently, the most important tasks of the foundry are investigation and control of the contamination level as well as elaboration of new pro-ecological solutions.

Personnel’s strong private commitment to life in harmony with nature is not meaningless to the decisions taken by the company. Today many employees or members of their families are engaged in the activity of environment protection associations and forest inspectorate.
