CN Turm, in Toronto, Kanada
CN Turm ist sichtbar von jedem Punkt der Stadt und der Umgebung, so dass der Turm das sichtbarste Symbol von Toronto und ihre Attraktion ist.
CN Turm hat eine Höhe von 553 Metern und von mehr als 25 Jahren wurde als das höchste freistehende Gebäude offiziell in das Guinness-Buch eingetragen. Burj Al-Arab, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
This architecturally stunning, world-renowned „7 Star” hotel posed unique design challenges at every phase of its construction. Seismic conditions and the building’s curved structure forced designers to seek innovative piping system solutions.
Using flexible Victaulic couplings allows the piping system to follow the contour of the building without the need for a larger number of fittings.
Taipei 101, Taipei, Taiwan
Taipei 101 is 509.2 m high and until 4th January 2010 it had been the tallest finished building in the world. It is the first such a high construction erected in an active seismic zone. It was essential to implement the Victaulic grooved piping systems that accommodate the strongest seismic movements.
Beijing Olympics’ National Stadium, China
The Bird’s Nest, home of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 29th Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China is an advanced and world-class stadium, symbolizing a new page in China’s construction history. Officially named National Stadium, the 100,000 seat stadium posed significant challenges to designers and contractors because of the structure’s unique design.
Beijing Olympic Committee members and contractors specified Victaulic mechanical pipe joining systems for the stadium’s HVAC system because of its ease of installation and alignment. Victaulic is also playing a vital role in protecting the stadium’s piping system from seismic activity, wind and other earth movements.

Victaulic foundries.
The largest non-ferrous foundry in Canada, the Victaulic foundry in Richmond Hills, Ontario, operates three manufacturing facilities and is capable of producing bronze, brass, aluminum, nickel-copper, high conductivity copper, cupronickel, aluminum bronze, manganese bronze and lead-free bronze sand castings, weighing from about 30 grams to 1.5 ton.
Asia and Australia are serviced from its manufacturing facility in Dalian, China and its regional headquarters in Shanghai.
A Victaulic foundry in Drezdenko provides ductile iron products for the Victaulic piping systems worldwide and custom castings for European clients from other industries.
