Proper management and propagating employee’s ecological awareness is a very important factor that allows adopting a very effective policy on environment protection.

In order to ensure proper surveillance of the environment protection, the special department, whose basic activity is to monitor the foundry’s influence on the environment, has been appointed.

One of the most important undertakings was a high spending on elaboration of a fully independent report on the foundry’s effect on the environment.

The report includes:

• an examination of the neighboring territories with respect to the appearance of plant and animal species,
• soil, water and atmosphere analyses,
• an analysis of the Victaulic foundry influence on the environment.

The result of the conducted research is that the foundry is among the most environment-friendly.

Currently, the most important tasks of the foundry are investigation and control of the contamination level as well as elaboration of new pro-ecological solutions.

Personnel’s strong private commitment to life in harmony with nature is not meaningless to the decisions taken by the company. Today many employees or members of their families are engaged in the activity of environment protection associations and forest inspectorate.
